processes, lean practices, and people leadership.
- Lead end-to-end plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, procurement, stores, and dispatch.

The QA/QC Manager will oversee and implement quality assurance and control processes throughout the shoe manufacturing process, ensuring
consistent product quality and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, process control, and analytical skills to minimize
defects and rework, ensuring adherence to quality standards at every stage of production.
- Maintain product rejection rates across all workstations below 2%.
- Ensure rework rates are consistently below 5% by implementing preventive and corrective actions.
- Maintain a comprehensive tracker of customer and internal quality complaints to ensure visibility and timely resolution.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) initiatives for quality issues and drive systemic corrective actions.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of cut panels during the cutting stage, preventing the flow of defective materials to downstream processes.
- Ensure stitched uppers meet all quality standards including size, defects, stitching accuracy, and measurements.
- Plan and supervise regular quality inspections across in-house and subcontractor production lines.
- Initiate and drive quality improvement projects based on insights from RCA.
- Communicate timely updates on design or material changes to all relevant departments.

quality-related issues.
- Support in maintaining rejection rates below 2% and rework below 5%.
- Conduct quality checks on cut panels, stitched uppers, and finished products.
- Monitor in-line production quality across all departments and subcontracting units.
- Record quality issues and assist in root cause analysis efforts.
- Ensure proper documentation and tracking of defects and quality complaints.
- Communicate observations and ensure compliance with quality standards at operator level.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to address quality concerns.
- Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

QC Checker
Responsibilities

To ensure that every shoe component and finished product meets defined quality standards through regular inspections and checks at various
stages of production. The QC Checker plays a vital role in identifying defects early and preventing defective materials from moving to the next
stage.
- Inspect materials/components (cut panels, stitched uppers, soles, etc.) for defects, sizing, and measurement errors.
- Check for stitching quality, bonding strength, finishing, and alignment.
- Perform line-side quality checks during key stages: cutting, stitching, lasting, finishing, and packing.
- Verify operations are being carried out as per quality SOPs.
- Identify, tag, and isolate defective products or components immediately.
- Ensure proper marking of rejection and rework items.
- Maintain daily QC reports/checklists.
- Record quantity checked, defects found, and actions taken.
- Immediately inform QC Supervisor or Line Leader of repeated or major quality issues.
- Coordinate with production teams for rectification.
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Assist in data collection for root cause analysis of recurring defects.
- Provide insights from line observations.
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Handle materials and products carefully to avoid damage.
Requirements:
- 10th /12th Pass.
- Diploma in Footwear Technology or related field.
- 1–3 years in a similar role from footwear industry (freshers with technical knowledge can also be considered).
